Whiplash: In the Pursuit of a Dream

In life we all have dreams. Some come true and some don’t. However no matter how big a dream is it can become reality. All you need to turn that dream into reality is faith, hard work, patience and persistence.
As I watched the 2014 movie
Whiplash, I was not so pleased with their use of
language because it is a movie my kid brother will enjoy. He plays the drums and
he is good at it but I decided not to let him watch it because of the language
used.
However I found the movie to be quite
educative. Now I don't agree with the instructor's method of insulting and
demeaning students so they would give their best but I liked the lesson it
taught. We need to be persistent in the pursuit of our dreams.
In order to achieve and live the reality of our dream,we need to be resolute and close our minds to all the negative criticisms and talks. No matter what you do people will try to discourage you but your convictions and the efforts you put into it are more important. Some will even mock you and taunt you with your past failures but don't let them get to you. Keep doing what you love to do, learn from your mistakes, never give up and be persistent. You can and will live your dream! Pursue your dream diligently and you'll see it manifest in the physical! Never give up because you are closer than you think!
