Over the centuries and through out history there are men who have sought to make themselves equal to God. They proclaim themselves as God and use every means possible to get people to worship them. They have used every brutal and barbaric force possible to make people acknowledge them as gods but one thing is for sure, although they claimed themselves to be gods they couldn’t and can't escape death.
People in this age are becoming
increasingly against the existence of God. They oppose the existence of a supreme being with all their might.
They invest their time and efforts to deny and disprove the existence of this
supreme being. They call on us to believe only in the seen (what we can see) and in things that
can be proven. However they forget that when we yield ourselves to this force
called science then science becomes a god to us. A god we worship and revere
since we have to accept anything it discovers and churns out. They call on us to
accept theories like the big bang theory, but a believe in this itself requires
faith. That, we believe something that we didn’t witness and something that has
not been proven beyond reasonable doubt requires a lot of faith if you ask me.
They call on us to believe in the theory of revolution when we have never
witnessed it or seen it happen! Whether we believe in the existence of a supreme
being or not we are still required to believe in something as humans. It is
intrinsic in our nature to believe, to have faith.
So, some people call themselves
atheists, they profess that they do not believe in God or His existence but
spend every waking moment to prove to us that there is no heaven or hell. They
say death is the end of man, yet can they really prove this? Isn’t it fear that
causes them to try their very best to prove that there is no God? Definitely if
they believed that there was indeed no God and were sure of this then, they
wouldn’t waste their time and efforts to prove that He doesn’t exist. Their use
of resources to make us believe that there is no God is an act to convince
themselves rather than others! It is to calm their conscience and their fears! I
believe in the existence of God totally and completely so I don’t waste my
efforts to prove to others that He exists, I just tell them what I believe and
invite them to see for themselves. When they do accept the challenge they come
to believe that He indeed exists.
You have tried to live without God
and Jesus Christ, why not try living with them and let’s see which one is
better? I am loved by someone greater than all humanity, the creator of the
universe. I am fearfully and wonderfully made by Him and He loves me above all
else. He is my best insurance in this life. When all else has failed you and
made you feel empty, why not try Jesus?
