There are times that you feel out of
place and unloved. This could be as result of what someone says or your own
assumptions but the question is, “Are our feelings always true?” Most times our
feelings are based on the false assumptions we make. Our brains love to take
charge, interpret and guess at things, however, would we take time to confront
situations and the people involved, we would most probably realise that things
are not what we assumed they are. Well, I know this is not applicable to all
situations and people but I want to encourage you not to base your decisions on
assumptions that arise out of misinterpretation of events, comments or body
language.
I feel excited within. I mean really,
really excited. Don’t know why I am so but I guess, it is just realizing how
blessed I am to have been created me! Can’t imagine being anyone else but me!
Yes, I admit I'm not perfect and sometimes I have suck at doing some things and
oh yes, I’ve failed many times! But that is just to be expected and normal. It
will be very scary to meet someone who has never failed before. That would be
certainly creepy! Unless of course that someone is God! A baby before learning
how to walk falls down a couple of times before learning how to stand firmly in
order not to lose his/her balance. This principle doesn't change much as we grow
older although in some cases we don’t have to go through failure before success.
Success cannot be measured in what you successfully didn’t do but what you’ve done successfully.
I stood in a queue for about twenty minutes waiting for a bus. I wanted to move from the current bus station to another one to get a car to my destination but didn’t. This was because I kept wondering what would happen if I left the queue I was on. I thought ‘what if a bus comes as soon as I leave?’ I said to myself then I would have wasted my time and missed the bus. I also wondered whether I would get a bus at the other bus station. I didn’t want to have to join another queue there. However, I finally decided to go to the other station but as I walked out I saw a bus drive in, I quickly went back to join the queue assuming the bus would go to my destination but this was not to be.
