6 Reasons Why You Need to Have a VISION

Proverbs 29: 18 “Where there is no vision, the people perish…” KJV

There are a lot of definitions for vision but my personal favourite is one given by the late Dr. Myles Munroe. He said "Vision is the capacity to see further than your eyes can see." Vision goes beyond seeing the here and now and sees into the future. Vision sees the end not the current condition or situation.

You may have noticed that my posts this month are geared towards vision. This month is the month where together we put a vision down for our lives. Your vision makes you know where you're headed so that you don't just wait for life to happen to you. The following are some reasons why you need to have a vision for your life;
1. Vision causes you to live your life on purpose.
2. Vision helps you to maximise your potentials.

3. Vision helps you to put together strategies and goals that will help you reign in life and deal with life issues.

4. Vision most importantly helps you to be focused. It helps you go after what you really want for your life.
5. Vision gives your life direction.
6. Vision gives you control over your life.

The source for vision is inspiration. The source of inspiration is passion. The source of passion is God. You need to know who you're in Christ to properly articulate a vision that is in line with your purpose. Your purpose is simply God's original intention for creating you. So if you’re not sure why God created you go back to Him and He will gladly show you.
