The Ultimate Cheat Sheet on Karma

Karma states that everything that happens to people happen because they deserve it. Karma is a theory of cause and effect. You spend your lifetime in fact lives (according to rebirth) paying for your sins or enjoying your good deeds.  (I must state that I don't believe in physical rebirth or reincarnation. According to the Bible everyone is born and lives once after that death and then judgement). Class, status and one’s lot in life are all dependent cause and effects. This means there is no redemption for you neither is there forgiveness of sins. If you're having a hard time in life then you deserve it. If you're rapped, trafficked, abused, poor, sick or jailed for a crime you didn't commit, you deserve it. That's karma you get served what you deserve. There is only one food on the menu of karma that is facing the consequences of your decisions and actions.

With karma you never know how much you owe or how many lifetimes you have to spend in order to get to the level where all your sins are paid for. Karma can be compared to this saying “When you throw a ball against a wall it bounces back at you”. In fact it actually bounces back to you with much force than you had thrown it with.

Grace, on the other hand, is simply unmerited favour that sanctifies or absolves you of your sins. According to Ephesians  2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:  2:9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
We are saved from our past, present and future sins not by our own merit but by the grace of God in Jesus. We don't get served what we deserve because Jesus has taken our place at the cross. Jesus has taken our punishment so that we are forgiven.  Rom 3: 20 Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin. 21 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; 22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: 23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; 24  Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.

With grace it doesn’t matter how much you have sinned in your life time because grace wipes your sins and gives you a clean slate. This is not because you deserve it but because Jesus Christ has taken your place and paid for your sins. Your sins are forgiven so you don’t have to pay for them in the next life, during the day of judgment.
Heb 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
With grace though you don’t deserve it your sins are forgiven. Behold what manner of love the father has given unto us that we should become the sons of God! Glory to God!

Which do you prefer; karma or grace? I bet you don’t want to spend eternity paying for your sins when you can have it all forgiven now! Choose grace, Jesus Christ. You’re the reason why He came. Come just as you’re and you’ll never leave the same. With grace you totally cheat out karma.
