Life is not a bed of roses so a wise
saying says. I'm thinking you've probably realised the validity of this
statement. We all wish we could have a trail free life. A life devoid of
sufferings, conflict, disappointment and death. We wish that our lives would be
all sunny with no storms or winds to disturb our tranquility but if wishes were
horses then indeed beggars would ride!
I read this somewhere though I can't recall where. It made an impact on how I saw and analysed situations. I hope you can learn from it as I did. There is the carrot, egg and coffee beans. When these are boiled for ten minutes each on high heat they are transformed. The carrot becomes softer after it's been boiled while the egg becomes hardened. Before the egg is boiled it is very fragile and has just it's shell as protection.
