People marvel because I say

I think photos are over rated

They are not a true reflection

A true reflection of who I am

I smile in some photos

Though the thought

At the time is to scream

My perfect made up face

For a camera

A memory lied

A memory preserved

I don't do photos

Because they are not a true reflection of who I am

Because only an image is captured

Photos just like shadows

Do not a good representation make

I don't do photos

Photos only show my body

I've got spirit and soul

Who I am is not my body

Who I am is my spirit and soul

Photos don't show the real me

I don't do photos

Because the focus is on the outside

Not the inside

I don't do photos because

I prefer the inside

I don't do photos because

It's a pose for the camera

I don't do photos

Because Me is who I am

Not an image

But Me is reality

Me is three dimensional

Me is body, spirit and soul

I don't do photos 

NOTE: There are so many reasons why I take photos but I wrote this on one of those days I wasn’t in the mood for my photo to be taken. Loool

John 6:63   ‘It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.’

Romans 8:11   ‘But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.’

Keep your eyes on Jesus and find rest. He is able to do all things for you if you believe. All things are possible for them that believe. Give Him your burdens and find rest and peace of mind.

Now faith is the assurance (title deed, confirmation) of things hoped for (divinely guaranteed), and the evidence of things not seen [the conviction of their reality—faith comprehends as fact what cannot be experienced by the physical senses].(AMP)

The bible also talks about many men of faith in Hebrews and how they were justified by faith. A lot of believers serve the Lord with their time and substance and by virtue of this expect everything to be rosy in their lives. They forget to relate to God by faith. In the kingdom of God faithfulness to the calling and service to God is really important however what is most important is our faith in God.

Until you relate to God by faith your circumstances will remain the same though you're faithful to God. What you need to change your circumstances is faith.
