When Where You Are IS Not Where You Want to BE
A time will come and it always does
for some it comes more than once. But trust me that time will. The time will
come when you're so dissatisfied with where you are and what you do. A time will
come, maybe you're in that season now, when you're in a place that you always
wanted to be. However you can't part yourself on the back and celebrate because
you realise that that is not where you want to be.
Before you got to where you're right
now you had anticipated and dreamt  so much about it that you prayed everyday
that God would bring you there. So here you're, voila, you're living your
dreams. But after all the excitement wears off you realise it's not where you
want to be after all.
Everyone you Know in this place is so
happy and so fulfilled. But it's as though you can't just find fulfillment where
you are. You stay where you're out of commitment but the longer you stay the
more you lose yourself and to an extent who you are. Everything becomes so
difficult to do. You don't know who you're anymore. You don't remember what it's
like to be you anymore but you stay out of fear. What if by moving on you're
going against God's will? You're impacting lives and serving God where you are
so why boarder to leave?
The guilt of not sticking to God's
will holds you prisoner. You don't want to leave and so you pray, cry and then
pray more for God to give you strength to endure. The more you pray the more you
want to move on but can't because you feel that it will be against the will of
God.
2Co 3:17 Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. (NKJ)
 You can't because you haven't
dealt with your fear of going against God's will. God doesn't call us to obey
Him out of fear but out of love. What you need is a revelation of His love. He
isn't standing over you to condemn you but to love. It's time you took a leap of
faith and left everything in His hands. Just let go and move on. The steps of
the righteous are ordered. Rediscover yourself, prayerfully consider what to do
and move on. Your life will not change nor will it give God glory when
you're miserable and so move on. Challenge yourself. God is for you not against
you. Pray for guidance and seek
counsel if you can't just move on your own.
