You Are Santa: Go Be Good
It’s almost Christmas and there is that merry feeling in the air. Shops, institutions, and cities have brought out their Christmas decorations and Christmas lights are out. Everyone is happy anticipating the time they’ll get to spend with family and the kids? Well, they spend all day dreaming about what gift Santa is gonna bring them this and hey, even adults have joined the trend. Some of my friends have posted their dream gift on Facebook telling Santa how good they’ve been.
A lot of charities have started hosting events to give out to the poor, less privileged, orphans and the sick. There is a magical feeling in the air. It’s a miracle because almost everyone wants to make someone happy. This is all in the right direction because Christmas is not just a holiday or just a religious celebration but a celebration of life. It is the day that the world welcomed God in human flesh. The heavens came down on this day. God gave us the gift of himself, Jesus. Jesus the word of God. Jesus, the expression of love. We welcomed the savior of humanity.
Christmas is not just a tradition but it is a celebration of the highest miracle, God incarnate in man. We are happy and daring as well as wishful because it is a time for miracles! I’m expecting a miracle, hope you’re too! Remember anything is possible so expect the unexpected. Share the love and joy of Christmas with all. Remember to do good to the poor and needy.
Consider spending time with the homeless, poor, orphans and the sick this Christmas. Instead of buying gifts for friends and relatives who can do without such gifts and give to the poor. Christmas is about giving because God gave us Himself! Spread love, cheer up someone and be good to all. Let the world experience Christ through you. Let them see in you the Christ in Christmas. The little you give can mean the world to someone. Be good for God’s sake.
Merry Christmas everyone. Love you loads!
