This post is a bit late in coming but
better late than never, right? For most of us the books and pens come out on
the first day of every new year. We plan projects and make resolutions for the
year ahead. We are so enthusiastic about what the year has in stock and all the
resolutions that we've written down. We pursue these resolutions at least for
some weeks before forgetting them.
Though most analysts tell us that it
is pointless making resolutions we can't keep, I think other wise. How else are we going to measure our successes and not so good projects if we never
planned to start them in the first place? It is important to define where we're
going and how we're going to get there. Doing so will help us evaluate our
life. We'll get to know what works and what doesn't work. It will also help us
judge our progress and push us to work harder.
