We all have the choice to choose to experience and live a fairytale more beautiful than these. We can have a happily ever after that is far more awesome and everlasting than Cinderella or Snow White. Our knight in shinning armour is greater and stronger than any prince charming. Let me tell you our story, the true stuff that fairy tales are made of.

Little girls are fascinated by fairy tales with their happy endings. Little girls dream of being Cinderella, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty etc. They long for their own kind of fairytale adventure, castles and a Prince charming. 

1. They need respect: Most women try to love their husbands but sometimes their efforts appear to be in vain. Women sometimes misinterpret how men receive love. Love to a man means respect. It is not usually about how you cook, clean and care for him but rather in the respect you show him. When you respect him, it indicates that you love him.
   

   

   
   
   

1. Pamper her – Do one special thing for her every week or month.
   

   

   
   
2. Speak positive things about her  both when you’re alone or with others – compliment her.
3. Be her best friend.
4. Help with the house chores and caring for the kids.
5. See her as a team player and not your subordinate or slave – You’re on the same team and together you’ll win every battle.
6. Provide for her and your home.
7. Tell her “I love you.” Although she knows you love her she still needs to hear you say it.

8. Give her the gift of your time and attention. Be a great listener and comforter.
9. Take her out (even if it means hiring a babysitter or leaving the kids with a relative) and give her gifts (you don't have to buy expensive gifts, if you can't afford to buy a gift for her then make one for her).
10. Appreciate her for all that she does to take care of you, the kids and your home. Don’t be the nagger rather let her know that you appreciate her.

1. Prepare yourself to be a wife or husband. Build up yourself to be the kind of person you would like to be married to. Gold attracts gold, light attracts light. Remember the person coming into your life is not the issue but you.
2. Learn about who the opposite sex is. If you’re a man learn about women and vice versa. Read bible based or inspired literature on who men and women were created to be and are from God’s perspective. The late Dr. Myles Munroe has such books that I recommend you read.
   

There are five love languages that determine how we individually receive love. In other words, each person interprets love differently hence it is important we learn the love language of our spouses. The following are the five love languages taken from Gary Chapman’s The 5 Love Languages: The Secret to Love That Lasts:

1. Words of Affirmation                                                                              
   Some people interpret love as words of affirmation. Therefore it is very important to them to be encouraged. Encouragement is when you empathize with your spouse and see life from his/her perspective. They also want to be appreciated or complimented. Tell them they look good and that you appreciate what they do for you. Use kind and humble words.
